ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy-Thu 9PM” was the second ranked telecast on broadcast TV Thursday evening with approximately 14.4 million average viewers.

FOX’s “FEDEX BCS National Championship Special” claimed the top slot in Nielsen’s ranking of the top primetime telecasts on broadcast TV for January 8, 2009. The show drew just over 26.8 million average viewers Thursday night.
ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” was the second-ranked program with almost 13.9 million average viewers, and CBS’s “CSI” rounded out the top three with just over 11 million average viewers.
