Last year’s matchup between the Patriots and the Giants was viewed by a record 97.5 million people in the U.S. As expected, the Super Bowl was the most-watched TV broadcast in 2008. Networks broadcasting the Super Bowl often use the game as a lead-in for one of their regular shows. This year, NBC will broadcast a one-hour episode of The Office. Last year, 29.1 million viewers stuck around after the game to watch an episode of House on FOX.

I thought it was among the best Super Bowl I have ever viewed, and I go back to the Super Steelers, Bradshaw, Ham, Mean Joe Greene and the rest of that team. The BEST commercial was the Dorito one.

As a 49er fan I had not plan on watching the Super Bowl, But as always, as a foot ball fan I knew I could not avoid watching it. Heck, I’m addicted to the Super Bowl. I came in at the second half and it was a great game, I now wish I could have watched it all. Now as for the commercials, “Boring”. They were the worst ever. I have always enjoyed the commercials as much as the game, if not more at times. Not this time. Better luck next time.

Thought ads from last year were better. Love, love the Coke Balloon ad! Charlie Brown wins! Life is at it should be! Very, very creative ad. Pepsi, year after year after year comes up with incredible ads. What is it with the soft drinks?

I cant help wondering if because of the economy problems people are having they weren’t more creative. Ad stand outs this year were definately Diritos…(The snow globe) wow and of course the beer ads. I guess the only ones with real good ads were or comfort foods in these tough times…Beer and junk food. I didn’t care for the talking baby ad so much. This years ad was all about them talking about the economy… hello that is so not what I want to think about when watching the game. Hopefully with all this CHANGE we are going through next year will be more creative and having wetting or pants with humor.

I was dissappointed in the commercials this year and the first half of the game. However the Doritoes commercial was funny and memorable.iAnd no matter what mood I’m in the E-trade Baby Dude…He rocks! I like the creativity of those ads. The game turned out to be one of the best SB’s ever.

I didn’t watch all the game, but the ads that I saw was very disappointing except Doritos was very creative, my hats off to the two young men! One of the best! The big companies fell flat this year. Game was one of the best ever.
