Primetime Broadcast Ratings, March 9, 2009

ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars” claimed the top slot in Nielsen’s ranking of the top primetime telecasts on broadcast TV for March 9, 2009. The show drew just over 22.8 million average viewers Monday evening.

CBS’s “CSI: Miami” and “Two And A Half Men” ranked second and third with 14.2 and 13.4 million average viewers respectively.

Overall, ABC won the night with an average audience of almost 18.9 million viewers, while FOX took second place with almost 11.9 million average viewers. CBS and NBC claimed third and fourth places with roughly 11.7 and 6.5 million average viewers, respectively. UNI and the MNT followed in fifth and sixth places with average audiences of roughly 4.2 million and 1.6 million average viewers, respectively.
