Primetime Broadcast Ratings, June 9, 2009

ABC’s “NBA Finals on ABC-Game 3″ claimed the top slot in Nielsen’s ranking of the top primetime telecasts on broadcast TV for June 9, 2009. The show drew just over 14.2 million average viewers Tuesday evening.

CBS’s “The Mentalist” and “NCIS” were ranked second and third with approximately 11.6
and 11.1 million average viewers.

Overall, ABC won the night with an average audience of almost 11.6 million viewers,
while CBS took second place with almost 10.5 million average viewers. NBC and FOX
claimed third and fourth places with roughly 5.7 and 4.3 million average viewers,
respectively. UNI and MNT followed in fifth and sixth places with average
audiences of roughly 4.0 million and 1.3 million average viewers.
