Primetime Broadcast Ratings, June 4, 2009

ABC’s “NBA Finals on ABC-Game 1 Special” claimed the top slot in Nielsen’s ranking of the top primetime telecasts broadcast TV for June 4, 2009. The show drew just over 13.0 million average viewers Thursday evening.

CBS’s “The Mentalist” was the second-ranked program with approximately 8.5 million average viewers while “CSI” rounded out the top three with 8.2 million average viewers.

Overall, ABC won the night with an average audience of almost 10.7 million viewers,
while CBS took second place with almost 7.3 million average viewers. FOX and NBC
claimed third and fourth places with roughly 7.2 and 5.3 million average viewers.
UNI and CW followed in fifth and sixth places with average audiences of roughly
4.1 million and 1.3 million average viewers.
