Primetime Broadcast Ratings, July 8, 2009

NBC’s “America Got Talent-Wednesday 9PM” claimed the top slot in Nielsen’s ranking of the top primetime telecasts broadcast TV for July 8, 2009. The show drew just over 11.9 million average viewers Wednesday evening.

ABC’s “Wipeout” was the second-ranked program with approximately 8.2 million average viewers while FOX’s “So You Think You Can Dance-Wednesday” rounded out the top three with approximately 7.6 million average viewers.

Overall, NBC won the night with an average audience of almost 7.8 million viewers,
while FOX took second place with almost 7.6 million average viewers. ABC and CBS
came in third place with roughly 6.1 while UNI and TF followed with average audiences of
approximately 3.6 million and 1.3 million average viewers.
