Primetime Broadcast Ratings: July 24, 2009

CBS’s “Numb3rs” claimed the top slot in Nielsen’s ranking of the top primetime telecasts
broadcast TV for July 24, 2009. The show drew approximately 5.3 million average viewers Friday evening.

FOX’s “Smarter Than 5th Grader” & NBC’s “Dateline” rounded out the top three with approximately 4.8 million average viewers.

Overall, CBS won the night with an average audience of almost 4.7 million viewers,
while FOX took second place with almost 4.2 million average viewers. NBC and UNI
claimed third and fourth places with roughly 4.0 and 3.2 million average viewers.
MNT and ABC followed in fifth and sixth places with average audiences of roughly
3.1 million and 2.7 million average viewers.
