Primetime Broadcast Ratings, February 10, 2009

FOX’s “American Idol-Tuesday” claimed the top slot in Nielsen’s ranking of the top primetime telecasts on broadcast TV for February 10, 2009. The show drew just over 24.9 million average viewers Tuesday evening.

CBS’s “The Mentalist” and “NCIS” rounded out the top three with 19.7 and 18.0 million average viewers respectively.

Overall, FOX won the night with an average audience of almost 17.6 million viewers, while CBS took second place with almost 17.3 million average viewers. NBC and UNI claimed third and fourth places with roughly 9.9 and 4.7 million average viewers, respectively. ABC and the CW followed in fifth and sixth places with average audiences of roughly 4.3 million and 1.9 million average viewers, respectively.
