Primetime Broadcast Ratings: August 4, 2009

NBC’s “America’s Got Talent-Tuesday” and “America Got Talent-Tuesday 8P” were the number one and number three-ranked primetime telecasts on broadcast TV Tuesday, August 4, 2009 with approximately 13.0 and 6.9 million average viewers.

CBS’s “NCIS” was the second ranked telecast on broadcast TV Tuesday evening with
approximately 9.9 millon average viewers.

Overall, NBC won the night with an average audience of almost 10.9 million viewers,
while CBS took second place with almost 6.8 million average viewers. FOX and UNI
claimed third and fourth places with roughly 5.3 million and 3.8 million average viewers.
ABC and the MNT followed in fifth and sixth places with average audiences of roughly 2.7
million and 1.4 million average viewers.
