Primetime Broadcast Ratings, April 6, 2009

ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars” claimed the top slot in Nielsen’s ranking of the top primetime telecasts on broadcast TV for April 6, 2009. The show drew just over 19.9 million average viewers Monday night.

CBS’s “NCAA Basketball Championship Special” was the second-ranked program with 17.6 million average viewers while FOX’s “House” rounded out the top three with 13.3 million average viewers.

Overall, ABC won the night with an average audience of almost 14.9 million viewers,
while CBS took second place with almost 14.3 million average viewers. FOX and NBC
claimed third and fourth places with roughly 12.1 and 6.5 million average viewers.
UNI and the MNT followed in fifth and sixth places with average audiences of roughly
4.8 million and 1.4 million average viewers, respectively.
