FOX’s “American Idol-Wednesday” was the number one-ranked primetime telecast on broadcast
TV for Wednesday, April 29, 2009 with approximately 22.4 million average viewers.

CBS’s “Criminal Minds” and “CSI: NY” rounded out the top three ranked programs with approximately 13.6 and 12.5 million average viewers.

Overall, FOX won the night with an average audience of almost 15.1 million viewers,
while CBS took second place with almost 13.1 million average viewers. ABC and NBC
claimed third and fourth places with roughly 7.0 million and 6.2 million average viewers.
UNI and the CW followed in fifth and sixth places with average audiences of roughly
4.0 million and 2.6 million average viewers, respectively.
