Primetime Broadcast Ratings, April 20, 2009

ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars” claimed the top slot in Nielsen’s ranking of the top primetime telecasts on broadcast TV for April 20, 2009. The show drew just over 20.5 million average viewers Monday evening.

CBS’s “Two And A Half Men” and “Rules Of Engagement” ranked second and third with 11.5 and 10.6 million average viewers.

Overall, ABC won the night with an average audience of almost 14.8 million viewers,
while FOX took second place with almost 9.5 million average viewers. CBS and NBC
claimed third and fourth places with roughly 9.2 and 6.6 million average viewers,
respectively. UNI and the CW followed in fifth and sixth places with average
audiences of roughly 4.5 million and 2.4 million average viewers, respectively.
