NBC’s “Dateline Friday” was the number one ranked primetime telecast on broadcast TV for Friday, April 17, 2009. The program had approximately 7.0 million average viewers.
CBS’s “Numb3rs” and “Ghost Whisperer” rounded out the top three ranked programs with approximately 6.8 and 6.5 million average viewers.

Overall, CBS won the night with an average audience of almost 6.5 million average viewers. NBC and ABC ranked second & third with approximately 5.8 and 5.1 million average viewers. UNI came in fourth with roughly 4.4 million average viewers while MNT and FOX followed in fifth & sixth with average audiences of roughly 3.4 and 3.0 million.
