Primetime Broadcast Ratings, April 16, 2009

CBS’s “CSI” and “Survivor: Tocantins” were the number one and two-ranked primetime telecasts on broadcast TV for Thursday, April 16, 2009 with 15.7 and 11.6 million average viewers.

NBC’s “Southland” rounded out the top three with 9.6 million average viewers respectively.

Overall, CBS won the night with an average audience of almost 11.8 million viewers,
while FOX took second place with almost 8.5 million average viewers. NBC and ABC
claimed third and fourth places with roughly 7.7 million and 4.7 million average viewers.
UNI and the CW followed in fifth and sixth places with average audiences of roughly 4.6 million
and 1.8 million average viewers.
