I can't figure out who to write to about the cruelty--even danger--of the Cymbalta ad. I have suffered episodes of severe depression all my life (I'm now 53). One excruciatingly painful part of being clinically depressed is the perception that you are hurting the people you love. This kind of thinking even results in thoughts of suicide, because you reason that your family would be better off without you.

So, when the Cymbalta ad says "who does depression hurt...everyone", it's irresponsible and cruel and a very bad design for an ad about depression.
