This may be partially true as all surveys are based on the # of respondents in a targeted demo survey. However those I know with insurance are tired of the rising costs of healthcare, especially with prescriptions, co-pays etc. Many people work just for healthcare instead of just retiring. It seems the older you are the higher your costs are. The unisured are unisured because of these such costs, where food, shelter and clothing come first. Don't forget the recently unemployed who drop healthcare because now their COBRA is about 4 x's the normal costs. How is one to pay 4 x's more when they just lost their job and unemployment means they are only bringing in 50% or less of their regular income?
