KGET 17 UHF, stated they could continue to broadcast, except maybe it should be at low power. A low power uhf station is better then just hd. The transition date stays June 12th, 2009, then allow KGET OR other media to operate at low power til June 12th, 2011. Other’s who can not get service may either get a hd converter box, call DirecTV, Dish Network or life-line cable tv.
